夕闇、雨の日の窓ガラスに小さな水滴が無数についている。
ガラス越しの煙った景色には、街の明かりが滲んでいる。
水滴は、ひとつひとつにそれぞれの風景を宿している。
それらを目で追いながら、一生のうちで憶えていたい光景と
いくつ出会えるかぼんやり考えていた。
点を描いていくことで、時間感覚、少しだけ吹いていた風とか、
湿度をいつでも思い出せるように。そして、自分が意識できる
範囲を超えて本当に見ようとしていたものを見るために。

At dusk on a rainy day, countless tiny droplets covered a windowpane.
Beyond the glass, the lights of the city dissolved into a blurred landscape.
Each droplet held its own landscape.
As I followed them with my eyes, I was led to reflect on
how many scenes I would encounter in a lifetime that I would want to remember.

By drawing dots, I try to retain the texture of a moment—
a sense of time, a slight breeze, the humidity.
It is also an attempt to see what I was really trying to see,
beyond the limits of my own awareness.
